These chicken fritters with green onion and sour cream are crispy, golden brown on the outside, and tender and moist on the inside. Simply served with sour cream and some fresh fresh green onion for a delicious meal.
1lb chicken breast, boneless and skinless, cubed into 0.25 to 0.5 inch piecesbreasts are used in this recipe, but any cut from the chicken can be used
2 eacheggs
1/3cupflour, all purpose
0.25 cupwhole milk
2clovesgarlic, grated into a paste
1 cupgreen onions, sliced thinly on the bias
2eachlemons
2 cupsour cream
2tbspcanola oil
salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
Whisk eggs, milk, juice of one lemon, garlic, and salt and pepper. Whisk in flour and green onions. Mix in chicken.
Heat up canola oil in pan on stovetop. Put spoonfuls of chicken mixture into hot oil. Cook until golden brown and then flip. Cook until golden brown on the other side. Make sure chicken fritter is cooked through.
Serve immediately with a generous dollop of sour cream and a slice of lemon. Sprinkle with fresh green onions
